Beginners
Beach breaks south of town (Foz do Lizandro, São Julião) are ideal for first lessons and soft-tops. Sand bottoms and wide shoulders.
Intermediates
Lizandro & São Julião on most swells. On friendlier days, Ribeira d’Ilhas offers long right-handers with channel access.
Experienced surfers
Coxos, Pedra Branca, Backdoor, Reef, Cave and Crazy Left—powerful, technical waves for confident surfers only.
